What Clients Say;
Real words from teens, parents, and adults who’ve experienced the clarity, growth, and confidence that PathSetting coaching brings.
Wow, I’ve been truly blessed to work in women-led spaces, surrounded by incredibly intelligent, powerful, and trailblazing women who continue to shape my journey. From literacy to leadership, I’ve learned so much from them, and I am deeply grateful for their influence in my life. But if there’s one person who has truly taken my career to greater heights, it has to be Maurita Glynn Weissenberg . Maurita is not just a mentor, coach, and leader—she is a force of nature! She has been pushing, guiding, and inspiring me to see my journey as something bigger than myself. Because of her support, I am growing, evolving, and stepping into my purpose in ways I never imagined. Today, I want to celebrate and thank her for her unwavering belief, wisdom, and leadership. The impact she has made in my life is immeasurable, and I know she will continue to touch many more lives and shape the world for the better. Here’s to the women who uplift, mentor, and empower! May we know them, may we celebrate them, may we become them!
– Litha Sam-Sam, Social Sector Director & Co-founder
Navigating the job market as a young graduate was one of the most emotionally taxing and lonely journeys I’ve ever experienced. The constant rejection, the self-doubt, the deafening silence after interviews it was easy to lose hope. But in the middle of all that uncertainty, Maurita Weissenberg was my unwavering support. From the moment we connected, Maurita showed up for me with tireless dedication. She didn’t just coach me, she championed me. Whether it was editing my CV, forwarding yet another job post or reminding me that rejection wasn't a reflection of my worth, she stayed in my corner. Her empathy, patience, and belief in me never faltered. Thanks to Maurita’s consistent motivation, practical advice, and genuine care I found the strength to keep going and eventually, I landed the job I had been working so hard for. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have made it through without her. She’s more than a coach, she’s a lifeline.
– Exaucee Kalula, Honours Graduate
Participating in the EFC workshop ran by Maurita Weissenberg helped me tremendously with understanding my strengths and weaknesses in the way I function through academics at UCT. Her gentle coaching made it effortless to understand the EFS information. Recognising my weakest executive functioning skills aided me to understand the barriers from within myself that were infringing upon my academics at university. Thus once a barrier was found, we came up with a specific strategy to handle it. Furthermore, recognising my strengths motivated me to develop them even more, including my weakest skills. My approach to academic work and personal life planning, goal setting has tremendously improved.
– Blessing Chatama, UCT Student
I’ve found the interactions incredibly valuable grounding, and well-timed. As a leader navigating complex spaces, it’s been refreshing to engage with someone who has walked this path and brings both experience and clarity. Being able to speak to someone and gain perspective from a fellow leader has not only sharpened my thinking but has also helped me cut through the noise. It’s less about being guided and more about having a sounding board that challenges, affirms, and refines. For that, I’m deeply appreciative.
– Glenda Shupinyaneng, Sector Leader
What helped me is the structure Maurita provided. Creating a space where I was guided to create a plan. And now I’m able to do that for myself. That’s been super helpful.
– Zola Turkstra, Matric Student
He has had a wonderful exam season! I can tell you as a parent that he is palpably self-driven, improved in his planning and managing of his time.
– Kehiloe Ntsekhe, Parent
I have had the privilege of being coached and mentored by Maurita for the past seven months. Choosing to embark on this journey has been one of the best personal and professional decisions I’ve made. Throughout our time together, I have experienced a profound shift in perspective—on both things I already knew and areas I was unaware of. Maurita’s coaching approach encouraged me to think deeper, embrace new perspectives, and adopt an open mindset. I have moved away from a fixed way of thinking to one that is more curious, reflective, and growth-oriented. What sets Maurita apart is her vast experience and wisdom. She coaches with honesty and clarity, while also being warm and supportive. We refer to our sessions as “Thinking Partner” time—an hour that is both empowering and grounding. These sessions offer a safe, relaxed space for open reflection, guided conversation, and meaningful deliberation. I always feel heard, respected, and given the space to express my thoughts and ideas fully. I leave each session feeling more empowered and ready to face the day with clarity and confidence. Since starting this journey, I have seen significant growth in myself—especially in my work. My confidence has increased, not because of external validation, but because I can see and feel the growth within myself. This inner transformation reflects in how I show up for others and in the quality of my work. Most importantly, I now enjoy my work more than ever before.
– Nosipho Waku, Project Manager for Axium Education
Working with Maurita has been an absolute pleasure. As an Executive Director, I often find myself juggling a never-ending to-do list with limited time to get it all done. Through our sessions, Maurita has helped me remove the overwhelm by exploring practical ways to prioritize tasks, while also diving into the deeper roots of the problem by addressing mental roadblocks. What I appreciate most is that she brings her own lived experience into the conversation—she’s walked this path herself—and she creates a supportive space for me to unpack the emotional side of leadership. Thanks to her guidance, I now feel I have a clear and confident roadmap to success in my role.
